Exchange Life
Last term ,I went to Taiwan Providence University.
The history of Providence University can be traced back to 1921. In 1920, Mother Marie Gratia Luking (1885-1964) and five Sisters of Providence came to China. In 1921, they founded Hua-Mei Girls' Elementary and High Schools in Kaifeng City, Honan Province; it was one of the first schools for girls in China. As prescribed by the school motto, Virtus cum Scientia and Virtue with Knowledge, Providence University values general education as well as professional training since established in 1956.
As a exchange student ,I had a wonderful time. IFB(International Friendship Buddy ) gave us a lot of help. They also hold barbecue party ,Halloween party and the farewell. All exchange students were divided into 40 families, and every family had at least one partner. My family had a cute girl from JAPAN, and a handsome guy from GERMANY. In mid-autumn festival we went to Kaohsiung with our partner.
My major is law. There is huge difference between TAIWAN and what I have been taught. My classmate and I always had discussions. At weekend , I spent much time to travel. I talked with local people ,walked along streets ,ate their famous food. It was really a good memory!
大三上学期，我作为交换生在台湾台中静宜大学度过了一个学期。
静宜大学是一所天主教大学，由来自美国印第安那州的主顾修女会（普罗维登斯的姐妹）的六位修女所创办，学校秉持「进德、修业」之校训，以「专业领航、全人陶成」为教育目标，以学生学习为主体，提供学生丰富、开阔的知识领域、学习环境与完善的行政服务系统，更注重学生品格与爱德之陶冶，培养学生成为「有社会责任感的知识份子」。
我选择了包含租税法，公平交易法，犯罪学等专业课程以及伦理思维与社会正义、台湾历史与民俗等通识课程。两岸法律条文形式等都有所不同，我与台湾的老师同学做了很多小组讨论，相互交流，交流的内容也不仅仅局限于法律，包含了我们对不同风土人情的领悟疑问以及思考。
学校的IFB组织(International Friendship Buddy )，为我们提供了很多帮助，从认识学校开始，到认识不同国家的交换生，组成家族，更是承办了万圣节变装，交换生告别晚会等一系列丰富多彩的活动，我们和不同国家地区的同学一起游玩一起交流，留下了美好的会议。
交换的生活相对于在上海的学校会悠闲的多，我可以去台湾走走停停，和当地人交谈去了解这里的当地历史与人情。同时也有更多的时间去读书，去思考去计划自己的未来。
感谢学校与学院给我这样的机会，让我受益匪浅。
