The Law Subject in Shanghai University of Finance and Economic is one of the Shanghai university first-class disciplines (class B) and the Shanghai leading academic disciplines, recently added as a first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization centers, which is approved by the Office of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. Teachers from SUFE Law have published in CLSCI more often than teachers in most other law school from another Shanghai university. SUFE Law is also included by much more research group of China Law Society than other law school in Shanghai. There are totally more than 50 articles written by team members in three authoritative journals, <Social Sciences in China >, < Chinese Journal of Law > and <China Legal Science>. Nearly five years there are more than 30 papers published in the name of the school in the school authority journals. The number of national community leaders and the central authority of law consulting experts among full-time teachers is at the top of colleges and universities in China. With SUFE Law’s great attention to the talent training in the subject, a large number of graduates become the leader or backbone of the area or the unit in courts, law firms, financial system, and in colleges and universities. The common law program is the first English and systematic training in the common law in China. In international and social cooperation, the deep cooperation with overseas universities and law practice department has gained high praise in the industry. Environmental law subject in SHUFE Law has done great contribution to domestic research in the ecological philosophy of law ; Key research direction of Economic Law highly fits the national development direction of national economic and social, ranking among the forefront of domestic Economic Law; International law subject emphasises the research through both domestic law and international law, and made outstanding achievements in the thorough research in International Financial Law and Financial Law, International Trade Law and Economic Law, International Tax Law and Tax Law and so on ; The study in Economic Constitution, Economic and Social Administrative Law, Civil and Commercial case comparison are all leading domestic counterparts. CLSCI journal articles, the number of the articles written by SHUFE Law teachers is the third highest in the Shanghai; in addition, the number of the articles about Economic Law or Commercial Law are listed in the second. Law school, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics attaches great importance to cultivating a team full of teachers who can make SUFE Law better in many aspects such as knowledge structure, mostly with overseas education or visiting experience in Britain, the United States, Germany, France and so on. We value organic integration of members in the process of construction of disciplines, promote the overall development level by means of team cooperation, and actively provide consultation service in the national and local the laws of the major strategic decision-making. The amount of discipline members currently hosts and important research project to complete the national social science fund project, the ministry of education are ranked among the top law schools in Shanghai. We participated in national and local legislation argument and consulting with as many as 40 people; for Shanghai "Four Centers", Global Science and Technology Innovation Center and the construction of Free Trade Zone, provide support from the height of law construction by means of more than 40 experts advise adopted and used by leadership instructions. Especially the Think-tank of construction of Free-trade Zone drawn domestic attention.
