From April 27 to 28, the Sixth Division (East China) competition of the fifth session of the National College Counselors' professional competence contest was held in Nanjing Normal University. College counselor Wang Yun in our law school represent Shanghai to participate, stand out among other excellent college counselor from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, won the first prize on behalf of the East Division (the country is divided to six Division), and will attend the finals in May, which showed her comprehensive abilities and high spirit.

East China contest was guided by Department of Ideological and political work of the Ministry of Education, and co-hosted by China Higher Education Society committee on on college counselors, the Education Department of Jiangsu Province, held by Nanjing Normal University. The aim of this contest is to further and strengthen the professional construction of college counselors, and improve the quality of college student on ideological and political education. The competition lasted two days, and the events are divided into six parts, including theme class meeting display, basic knowledge testing, network writing, case analysis, keynote speech, and communication scene reproduction. The events not only tested counselors about their mastery of knowledge, analysis of information, problem solving ability, but also language expression ability, communication skills, use of knowledge and methods of related disciplines to carry out ideological and political education of college students.
