April 15th, 2016, the Vice-president of University of Adelaide Law School, Professor Paul Babie visited SUFE Law School. Talks between Professor Paul Babie, SUFE Law School’s Vice-president Ge Weijun and EA Supervisor Shang Shu were held towards the aspects of talent cultivation, cooperative research etc.
This is Professor Paul Babie’s first time to visit our Law School. Professor Ge Weijun made an introduction on Law School’s basic situation includes the internationalization of teachers and talent cultivation, conventional and summer international cooperation project. Professor Paul Babie said that University of Adelaide Law School and SUFE Law School are both middle-sized international law school which have outstanding research ability. Each school has its own strength in the fields of public law and economic law, which has the complementarity. The two schools can have further cooperation in the aspects of summer school, cooperative research, co-cultivate postgraduates and distance education etc. He sincerely welcomes teachers and students from SUFE Law School apply for their scientific research projects and high-quality curriculum which are geared to the global. Both schools expressed their keen interest in next-step’s cooperation. After the talks, Professor Paul Babie was invited to visit our university’s teaching and scientific research facilities. Then Professor Paul Babie had a lunch with the representative of teachers.
