On the evening of June 4th, 2015, the eighth Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Financial Law Forum was held in second teaching building Room 211. Lawyer Shao Chunyang, the partner of Jun He Law Firm, was invited to give a lecture about the topic "the return of those red-chips listed abroad". The lecture was hosted by Song Xiaoyan, the professor of SUFE Law school. Teachers and students actively participated in the lecture. This lecture attracted lots of financial institutions, law firms and people in practice as well.
At the beginning of the lecture, Shao introduced the basic knowledge of domestic and overseas listing as well as the main content of A-share listed. Soon after, he went deep into analysis of the overseas listing and the Red-chip return details. The principal content included intermediary organs of overseas listing and the main contents of litigation services; the listing procedures in Hong Kong and NASDAQ/NYSE, the main contents of legal services as well as their advantages and disadvantages; the conditions and questions of Chinese big Red-chip, small Red-chip and VIE structure.
In the end, Shao Chunyang held a discussion on the overseas listing and everyone is actively involved in. This lecture was abundant in content as well as profound. And it successfully ended in a warm applause.
