Constitution Propaganda Week of SHUFE Law School Ended Successfully

December the forth is the first national Constitution Day and also the 14th national Propaganda Day. December 1st to 7th is also the Constitution Propaganda Week of the 26th session. Teachers and students of SHUFE Law School elaborately organized and planned a series of educational activities around the topic “ Adhere to the Constitution Spirit ,Spread Rule of Law culture and Make Shanghai a City Ruled by Law” which included Propaganda of rule of law, legal consultation, popularizing law in campus, the culture of rule of law and legal spirit promotion .

On December the 4th, 2014, volunteers of the Law Society Asisting Center went to East Liao Yang Middle School and organized legal promotion activity in the form of a garden party. Volunteers set up 7 or 8 stalls and every stall provides interesting games. To encourage students to take part in more earnestly, ball pens, rulers and other small gifts were provided at the stalls to attract junior middle school students. From the beginning of the activity, students showed great interest and enthusiasm. They not only took part in the games actively but also raised many questions concerning law.

At the noon of December 5th, Volunteers of the Youth Corps Committee Students Federation (hereinafter referred as YCCSF) handed out many pamphlets to students which included Constitution Law, Compulsory Education Law, Public Security Administration Punishment Law and Law of PRC on the protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers. Volunteers broadcasted legal knowledge to students energetically and students also showed great enthusiasm to law and read the contents of pamphlets carefully.

At the noon of December 6th, YCCSF of SHUFE Law School handed out questionnaires throughout the campus in order to popularize the basic knowledge of Constitution.

At 13:00 of December 6th, under the leadership of Zhou Yan, Vice Party Secretary of SHUFE Law School, teachers and students came to the Sunken Plaza at Wujiaochang to help solve legal problems of the general public. From the beginning ,the activity attracted many people , many of who came up to read the materials and some consulted on labor dispute and private lending, teachers and students gave them legal advice and offered their analysis. The atmosphere of the law popularizing activity is active which not only enriched the legal knowledge of the public but also strengthened their sense of law.
