The Enthusiasm of Alumni Warmed The Cold of Autumn ——Alumni of Economic Law Attended The Inaugural Meeting of The SHUFE Alumni Association

On November 8th, 2014, The Inaugural Meeting of The SHUFE Alumni Association has been held in the hall on the Lecture Hall,the 3th Floor of Executive Building. With the effort of alumni,leaders and Involved Departments of SHUFE, the SHUFE Alumni Association was about to setting up, approved by Civil Affairs Bureau on November 5th, 2014,.

Begun with The National Anthem, the meeting was hosted by Fang Hua, the vice President of SHUFE. Firstly, Zhang Yanbo, who is the deputy Director of Cooperation and Development Department, reported the preparatory work of the alumni association. Secondly, Liao Hong, the deputy director of civil organization administration of Civil Affairs Bureau, read out About Approval On Establishment of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Alumni Association. Then, Fan Liming, President of SHUFE, and Liao inaugurated for “The SHUFE Alumni Association” together. What’s more, The Rules of The SHUFE Alumni Association and The Name Lists for the First Council Members of The SHUFE Alumni Association were passed unanimously. Finally, the meeting ended with an important speech, delivered by Fan Liming, President of SHUFE and President of the SHUFE Alumni Association. Twenty-nine representatives present congratulated us who came from 21 Alumni Association of different universities, such as the Shandong University Alumni Association, the Fudan University Alumni Association and so on. Also, 91 alumni coming from 43 or so areas out of Shanghai attended the meeting. They were: Executive Director of the Alumni Association in Shenzhen, Director of the Alumni Association in Beijing, Director of the Alumni Association in Taiwan, Director of the Alumni Association in Australia ect. And more than 100 alumni being from Shanghai were present. In the afternoon, a seminar on the work of the Alumni Association in various regions was held.

Alumni graduated from SHUFE Law came to congratulate on the establishment of The SHUFE Alumni Association both from home and abroad. Strolling in the campus covered by golden leaves in this autumn raining day, they brought deep blessing and love to SHUFE Law. Among the alumni they were: Alumni 1987, Shi Zhongying, the Backbone of the Alumni Association in Jiangxi, the Deputy General Manager of JMCG; Alumni 1989,Liu Hongnan, person in charge of the Alumni Association in Singapore, Majordomo of China Commerce Group Economy and Cooperation Company; Alumni 1991,Zhang Jing, the Backbone of the Alumni Association in Nanjing, Director of Qinhuai Investment Promotion Bureau; Alumni 1993,Li Jin, KPMG Partner in tax, ; Alumni 1993,Yang Qin, vice President and General Law Counsel of Crip; Alumni 1993,Duan Jingwen, the deputy Director of Financial Department of Zhongshan Hospital; Alumni 1993,Wu Peng, working in Pudong Investment Department; Alumni 2004,Xu qiong, the Backbone of the Alumni Association in Suzhou, working in Jian Wen Law Firm; Alumni 2005,Wang Wei, Shanghai Market Supervision Administration in Jingan district; Alumni 2006,Xie Jiejin, working in Jin Mao Law Firm; Alumni 2009, Lin Zhiwei, working in McKinney Greater China; Alumni 2011, Zhou Bo, the Backbone of the Alumni Association in Ningbo, working in Huaxia Bank etc.. Zhou Yan, CCP Deputy Secretary of SHUFE Law, and Wang Yun, Secretary of league committee of SHUFE Law, who organized this Alumni Association activity, are both our alumna as well. Wang Ying, the member of the SHUFE Law Alumni Association, has released the news about anniversary of the school through the alumni network many times before, trying to provide convenience for the Alumni Association activities. A lot of alumni not present expressed their blessings through phone, message, wechat.

The work for the SHUFE Alumni Association will persist in centering on serving for the development of the SHUFE Alumni Association and the school. Around system construction, organization construction, platform construction and culture construction, the work is making solid progress. the SHUFE Law Alumni Association is promoting and perfecting.
