On November 5th, 2014, Zhou Jiepu, CCP secretary of SHUFE Law; Ge Weijun, associate professor and director of J.M. center of SHUFE Law; Professor Song Xiaoyan and Professor Li Yu and Professor Fan Jian of SHUFE Law, and Liu Yanhao, part- time master turtor in our school, director of the policy research office of Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People’s Court visited Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung.

During the visitation to Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung, communication discussion was made with peers of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung. Liao Yiming, Dean of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung; Professor Zhang Yongming; Associate professor Wu Xinghao; Associate professor XieZhipeng; Associate professor JiZhenqing; Associate professor Lai Hengying and Associate professor Zhou Bohan participated in the discussion.

In the working dinner held in the conference room of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung, both sides held related discussion and communication. Liao Yiming, Dean of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung, delivered a welcoming address, introducing the teachers present and situation of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung, expressing the will to strengthen exchanges of teachers and students and promoting legal discussion between two law schools. Professor Zhou Jiepu gave a speech to express gratitude, and introduced the development in discipline construction, teaching staff, scientific research, personnel training and internationalization of SHUFE Law. She also looked forward to the further development of exchange students and summer school. She also talked about SHUFE Law would learn the advanced experience and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung. After that, Professor Zhang Yongming introduced the situations of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung including the intercoastal legal discussions and exchanges with other law schools. One undergraduate, two master degree candidates and one doctoral student attended the summer school named “special legal frontier problem of finance and economics– nomocracy of free trade area” held by SHUFE in 2014 which drew a number of heated responses. SHUFE Law School invited Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung to continue to appoint students to participate the summer school. Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung expressed gratitude and showed keen interest to this project. Liao Yiming, Dean of Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung, and Zhou Jiepu, CCP secretary of SHUFE Law, expressed the hope that a cooperation agreement would be signed as soon as possible to strengthen further cooperation between two law schools. Director Liu Yanhao introduced the cooperation situations of practical courses and researches on free trade area between Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People’s Court and SHUFE Law. At the end of the meeting, participants exchanged views deeply on how to strengthen cooperation of SHUFE and Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung.

During the visit, delegation of SHUFE Law was received the warm hospitality. SHUFE Law would make multi-level cooperation, absorb useful experiences and enhance exchanges with Department of Law in National University of Kaohsiung to broaden horizons, improve the quality of academic researches and cultivate excellent legal talents of the financial law.
