Mr. Hu gave a superb lecture named “The Second Incremental Reform: Influence from Information Technology and Its Responses from Law”. The lecture lasted for one and half hours. All seats were occupied by students from different colleges with exclusive attention and active involvement.
At the beginning of lecturing, Zhou Jiepu, the CCP Secretary of SHUFE Law, addressed the ceremony. And then, the host introduced the process of the ceremony. In a warm applause, Mr.Hu began his lecture which centers the issue “reform of information technology and its responses to law”. He discussed it from 5 aspects. These were incremental reform of information technology revolution, the affect to culture industry from illegal rise of reform, the spread to competitive service industry, responses to conflict of interest from law, and future of public service. Mr. Hu ended his lecture with a question, “Whether the information technology is omnipotent or not?” Also, he gave his own understandings to inspire the audiences’ thinking. At last, in the Q&A session the students raised many questions and Mr. Hu patiently answered them one by one, which help students better understand the lecture.
The whole ceremony ended so successfully that students benefitted much from it. Not only did it provide much knowledge about information and law to students, but also it made students feel the attractiveness of law, boosting their enthusiasm in law study.
