On October 10, 2014, the seminar of Juris Master case-based teaching was held at the meeting room of SHUFE Law. The purpose of the seminar was to adapt to the master teaching requirement raised by the National Graduate Students Teaching Work Meeting and to offer supports to the construction of national Juris Master case teaching. It was also a chance for SHUFE Law to explore the new method of case-based teaching and improve the quality of Juris Master teaching.

The seminar was hosted by the Director of Juris Master Center, Vice Professor Ge Weijun. Professor Gong Baihua, Vice Dean of Senior Law College of Fudan University, Professor Yangli, Vice Dean of Koguan Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Wang Quanxing, Professor Wang Shiru, Professor Song Xiaoyan, Professor Liu Shuilin, Professor Xu Jiqiang and some other scholars attended the seminar. Two teaching cases were discussed during the seminar. The first one was a case about information disclosure, “ACEF v. the EPA” written by Zeng Jian. The second one was a case about the transaction on undisclosed information written by Li Rui. The professors had an energetic discussion on the two cases in all directions.

Towards the end of the seminar, professors interacted with each other and deepened their understanding of the case-based teaching requirement. The lecture ended in warm applause of all professors attending.
