On September 23, Jessup club held its first meeting in room 311 of No.2 Teaching Building. The Vice President of the club, Yang Wanggege, hosted the meeting.

At the very beginning, President Jane gave a welcome address, mainly focusing on the constitution of Jessup and the activities been organized last semester. Then, every club members did a self-introduction and was required to tell a joke, which brought an amicable atmosphere to the whole meeting.

Jessup club also invited Sissi, the leader of last year’s Jessup competition, to share her personal experiences in Jessup. She introduced the whole procedure of the competition and brought us videos as well as funny stories.

After that, the Vice President showed the upcoming activities and some official documents to all the members. There was also a recruitment of the Jessup Committee member. In the end, President Jane gave a remark.

The first meeting gave the club a great start. Well begun is half done, we believe that Jessup SHUFE will do better in the future.
