Lecturer of Shufe Law School, Dr. Xiaobo Zhao visited the University of New England and delivered a lecture on the occasional seminar on 29 August 2013. Dr. Zhao lecture was titled as ‘The Making of Contaminated Land Law in China: Global Approaches vs Chinese Features’. His research discusses the common approaches that have been practiced in other jurisdictions and looks at what approaches could benefit China to address its own problems. Dean of the UNE Law School, Professor Michael Stuckey held the seminar and expressed his worm welcome to Dr. Zhao. Both Law Schools have joined a MOU regarding the collaborations in mutual approval of credits, exchange students and sharing of education resources. Dr. Zhao’s lecture was a very successful one, the Law School stuff and students have attended this similar and had lots of discussions after Zhao’s presentation.
