On the afternoon of May 19th, a group of students and teachers of SHUFE Law gathered in Thames Coffee Bar to join the Mini Salon, an academic activity organized monthly by A/Professor Tang Guanhong's students for sharing their academic progress.

This time, the event was attended by a very special and distinguished guest Tan Xianglong, an off campus tutor of SHUFE Law who, during the salon, provided his help on students’ reports. Mr. Tan, a very experienced lawyer from Taiwan, graduated from the famous law school of Soochow University with doctor’s degree and got his second doctor’s degree in Peking University. Dr. Tan supported A/professor Tang’s academic salon by providing his experiences and academic analysis for students. Actually, it was not the first time he joined the event. Students were impressed a lot by his smiling face and stories.

Thanks to Tang's responsibility and leadership, this Mini Salon developed so well with an increasing influence. This time, although seriously hurt in her arm, Tang insisted on joining the meeting. Every one was deeply moved by her responsibility and dedication. Students will never forget her devotion and tough love to them. During the salon, Tang also delivered a speech in which she expressed her hope to strenthen SHUFE Law’s academic atmosphere by building up and developing this study group.

Sincerely hope Tang can recover as soon as possible. Meanwhile sincerely wish this Mini Salon will keep going and influencing more and more SHUFE Law talents.
