Invited by Dean Professor Shaohua Zheng, Professor Charles K. Whitehead of Cornell University Law School visited SHUFE Law on April 24-26, 2013. During his stay with SHUFE Law, a meeting on academic cooperation between SHUFE Law and Cornell Law School took place, whilst Dean Professor Zheng and Professor Whitehead discussed particularly a joint course in commercial arbitration. Making use of video conferencing facility, the named program will benefit greatly students of two institutions at a low cost.
 

On April 24 and April 25, Professor Whitehead gave two fantastic lectures entitled “The Changing World of Equity” and “The Changing World of Debt”, of which both were well received by SHUFE Law students.
