SHUFE announced the evaluation results of teaching achievement prize. Among the 22 projects declared by Jury, SHUFE Law got one project for first prize and two projects for second prize.

 

The Training Mode and Practice Research of Excellent Financial Legal Talent” by Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua, won the first prize. “The Character Cognition Theories: the Innovation Practice of Jurisprudence Teaching Methods” by A/Professor Zeng Jian and “The Classroom Research: How to Promote the Teaching Effect of Undergraduate Public Law Courses” by A/Professor Lv Tiezhen got the second prize. These awards are not only acknowledgements to SHUFE Law’ teaching achievements but also affirmations for the work of SHUFE Law faculty.

 

The SHUFE Teaching Achievement Prize aims to encourage departments to be engaged in more active educational research; to come up with new ideas in respect of theory as well as to increase the teaching level and education quality.

Background Information:

The Training Mode and Practice Research of Excellent Financial Legal Talent” conducted by Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua, is a key research into undergraduate education reform of Shanghai high institutions approved by Shanghai Education Commission in 2011. He points out: “Our efforts show that our law school has entered the mainstream of major law schools at least in China. SHUFE Law will continue to provide good service for project teams, and better manage project funds, on the basis of the previous project work to promote the development of SHUFE Law and teaching achievement research. ”

 

The research project “The Character Cognition Theories: the Innovation Practice of Jurisprudence Teaching Methods” conducted by A/Professor Zeng Jian aims at the promotion of the study of Jurisprudence Teaching methods, the cultivation of juridical logic as well as a broader legal communication by pointing out research direction, establishing academic regulation, and propelling Jurisprudence Cognition Theories in general.

 

A/Professor Lv Tiezhen who devoted himself to the research program “The Classroom Research: How to Promote the Teaching Effect of Undergraduate Public Law Courses” acknowledged students’ outstanding performance and contribution to the development of Public Law Courses and the construction of the teaching efforts, which further encourages the majority of law students to move toward better performance in their study.
