Evaluated by panel experts for Zhong Zhen Scientific Research Fund, A/Prof. Hu Yuan's paper “Energy Conservation Assessment of Fixed – asset Investment Projects: An Attempt to Improve Energy Efficiency in China” has been awarded the outstanding achievement of the 19th Zhong Zhen Scientific Research Fund (2012) of SHUFE. The paper published in Energy Policy (Volume 43, April 2012, Pages 327-334) which is a double retrieval periodical of Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Science Citation Index (SCI), focuses on the energy conservation assessment of fixed - asset investment projects in China. Along with the environmental impact assessment, it explores the innovation, positive impact, practical effect and defects of the conservation assessment.
