SHUFE Law Was Selected as the First Cultivation Bases of Extraordinary Legal Professionals

A few days ago, Ministry of Education and Central Political and Legal Commission of CCP published the list of the first “National Cultivation Bases of Extraordinary Legal Professionals”. Without doubt, SHUFE Law was successfully selected. The approved project is another landmark achievement for talent training, after the selection of “Shanghai Cultivation Base of Extraordinary Legal Professionals”, “Shanghai Off-campus Practice Bases for College Students” as well as “National Legal Education Practice Bases” in 2012, marking a new stage of SHUFE Law’s innovation of personnel training pattern, especially the training of practical and versatile legal talents.

The election of the First Cultivation Bases of Extraordinary Legal Professionals experienced a strict procedure. Firstly, university directly administered by the Ministry of Education shall apply for the base by itself, combining the recommendation from the provincial administrative department of Education. Then Ministry of Education Department of Higher Education should organize experts to review the universities that applied for the base through a competitive election. The construction period of the base is five years, meaning that the institutions will be cancelled the title if they are unqualified in annual inspection.

SHUFE Law will strictly implement relevant provisions and do its best to prepare for assessment from Ministry of Education and Central Political and Legal Commission of CCP on the basis of their relevant files.
