On Nov. 28, 2012, a delegation headed by Vice President Morag Shiah and Professor Spyros Maniatis of Queen Mary, University of London visited SHUFE Law. Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua extended a warm welcome to the delegation and gave a detailed introduction about SHUFE Law, including general characteristics, strong disciplines and achievements on academic research.

During the visit, Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua, Professor Spyros Maniatis, the director of Commercial Law Research Center of Queen Mary, held some discussions about academic and educational cooperation, reaching a consensus about cooperation project in some areas. “Joint program established by SHUFE Law and Queen Mary is a milestone during the whole process of university development, and the cooperation will extremely enhance the international reputation of SHUFE Law and accelerate its internationalization.”, Dean Shaohua said. In addition, He stated that two sides should take this opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and explore viable cooperation programs in talent cultivation and scientific research. Doctor Hu Ling, the assistant of Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua, expressed his points of view as well.
