From Nov.2, 2012 to Nov.14, 2012, Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua made a successful visit to Australia and New Zealand at the invitations of the Land and Environment Court of New South Wales (NSW) of Australia and the Environment Court of New Zealand.

Dean Professor Zheng Shaohua successively visited NSW Land and Environment Court, Sydney University Law School, NSW Environmental Protection Agency, Australian Environment Defenders Office (EDO), NSW Judiciary Committee, Queensland Planning and Environment Court, Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, EDO Office in Brisbane, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, New Zealand Environment Court and Oakland University Law School in 12 days trip. Zheng had had some in-depth discussions and exchanges with Environmental Judges, lawyers, representatives of Environmental NGOs as well as Environmental Law scholars of Australia and New Zealand on issues about Environment Court and environmental public interest. He also attended many trials of environmental case.
